The Decayed is the head librarian of Level 40, who is in charge of tending to and organizing the non-censored books of that level. She stands at an estimated 7 feet, 5 inches.
The Decayed has been said to have stared into the Maw, which is speculated to have resulted in her current physical condition. How she managed to encounter the Maw is currrenty unknown.
A handful of people from various floors come to the library to check out and return books, but they don't stay long due to her second form, which consists of holes covering her entire face, with no visible facial features. This form is very fast, very strong, and is incredibly hostile and should be avoided at all costs.
Luxury Canon[]
In the Luxury Canon, The Decayed is seen as a member of the Council. She is described as being the relatively innocent one of the group, though she "knows more than what she lets on". It is once again mentioned in the quadrant that she has encountered and stared into the Maw.

- One of The Decayed's only possessions is a romance novel from before the event.
- She is often seen talking to The Shifter.
- She finds it incredibly difficult to walk. The only time she is able to walk properly is when she is in her other form.
- Other than The Shifter, she doesnt have many people she can call friends.
- It has been mentioned that she has close to no organs.
- She has expressed that she wishes that the library would be "as busy as it used to be", though what specifically that was is unknown seeing as most of the members of the Bunker are close to illiterate.
