The Escaped believes the computer made up the event and that the surface is fine. He made his way to the airlock gate and let out a scream and was presumably killed as the doors opened. The AI broadcast the screams across the bunker to warn against leaving. It is unknown what really happened, with some believing he was killed by radiation, and others believing he was killed by the computer. A new generation of Escaped believes the screams were faked and that he is on the surface happy.
